Job Description

The Engineering Research Office promotes external research execution, as defined by the engineering leadership team. A field leading team of project specialists will support strategic planning, proposals, and project execution. The team will also foster partnerships across engineering and science sectors to promote innovative solutions and a skilled workforce. The team will ensure the highest standards in ethics, compliance, and contracting, thus, strengthening the brand and image of the Texas A&M University College of Engineering, Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, Texas A&M University, and The Texas A&M University System.

Qualifications*

We are recruiting for a level I, II, or III Project Specialist to support the Engineering Research Office.

Minimum qualifications for a Project Specialist I:

• Bachelor’s Degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  
  

Minimum qualifications for a Project Specialist II:

• Bachelor’s Degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• One year of related experience in project management.
  
  

Minimum qualifications for a Project Specialist III:

• Bachelor’s Degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Two years of related experience in project management.
  
  

The well-qualified candidates would possess the following:

• Experience in project management preferred.
