Job Description
Purpose:
The Operations Coordinator will assist with the development and coordination of plans and procedures, as needed, in conjunction with existing emergency and incident plans. Inspect and follow up on maintenance requests, EHSR matters, facilities, and related items. Provide professional support and backup project support for Operations Office. Acquire and coordinate safety and building equipment, furnishings, and related items.
Responsibilities:
- Facilities:
- Serve as the primary Operations Liaison with Facility Coordinators, Project Managers, and departmental staff for West Campus and RELLIS campus located Engineering buildings, supporting small projects and meetings related to facilities concerns and related projects.
- Facilities activities such as coordination of space, reconfigurations, improvements, and upgrades. Professional position responsible for the coordination of agency facilities and environmental health and safety matters.
- Follow up with maintenance requests to ensure appropriate action is taken in a timely manner.
- Assist with space assignments and annual space inventory.
- Safety:
- Assist with coordination of agency environmental, health, safety, and risk (EHSR) matters and safety activities such as safety training, acquiring safety equipment, documentation of EHSR matters, etc.
- Acquire and coordinate safety and building equipment, furnishings, and related items.
- Administrative:
- Assist with cross-functional project teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones, while maintaining high standards of quality and end-user satisfaction.
- Support the creation and upkeep of reports, resources, and various materials to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available.
- Serve as backup and professional support for Operations Office.
- Attend conferences and meetings as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of related experience
