Job Description
Purpose:
The Program Specialist II provides support to assigned programs; assists with overall program coordination and event planning; manages EH data repository, program records, and database, including coordination of program data collection and analysis and report generation using extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel; assesses metrics for evaluation of program success, identifying and suggesting improvement opportunities based on data; manages application processing; handles complex reports; serves as an information resource on administrative operational methods and processes; develops procedures for complex or specialized functions; assists in recruitment activities in support of the program's goals. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Manages and monitors assigned program operations, including:
- Tracking and management of the requirements of the students in the program,
- Directing the collection of program data including analysis,
- Managing data repository, software system, and internal systems,
- Overseeing the processing of EH applications,
- Working with communications to manage assigned program websites,
- Assisting with recruitment for assigned programs
- Other duties as assigned.
What we need :
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of related experience.
What is helpful:
- Technical software skills and experience
- Previous work with undergraduate students
- Familiarity with accessing and tracking student data would be a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others;.
- Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
