As the Salesforce Administrator, you’ll interact across all levels of the organization identify gaps and formulate business requirements into technical solutions within our CRM database and other tech solutions. You’ll use Apex and Lightening Web Components to develop and deploy custom solutions including unit tests and code coverage compliance. As our business processes evolve, you’ll create automation using flows, triggers, and Apex batch jobs. You’ll configure Salesforce to fit our needs by updating flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports. When it comes to upgrades for custom metadata and settings, you’ll document and maintain our managed packages. When there are deficiencies in data integrity, you’ll work with the team to isolate and resolve these issues. Your ability to express complex ideas and technical information to a variety of audiences will really shine in this role. You’ll thrive in a team-focused environment that focuses on life-long learning, creativity, and innovation. Applying your passion for mission-driven work you’ll be able to apply your organizational skills to multiple tasks and projects and showcase your calm approach to producing good work and hitting timelines.

What We Require…
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field or an equivalent combination of training, education, and work experience.
- 3-5 years of professional work experience in salesforce, information systems, or a related field.
- Apex experience including unit tests and code coverage compliance.
- Lightning Web Component experience.
- JavaScript experience.
- Understanding of web services (REST/SOAP) and how to use them to develop integrations.
- Strong experience with a relational database management system (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
- Experience using source control systems, such as Git.
- Experience with at least one non-Apex, object-oriented programming language, such as Python or Java.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data loads (e.g., governor limits, performance, process builders, apex timeouts).
- Troubleshooting performance issues using tools like debug logs and dev console.
- Troubleshooting system configuration and data management issues.
- Ability to express complex ideas and technical information in relatable ways to audiences with varied backgrounds.
- Strong working knowledge of application programming and database management systems in an on-line, cloud environment.
- Proven ability to utilize critical thinking skills with the ability to apply analytical rigor to solve problems and drive efforts to achieve higher level vision.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across disciplines/units and build cross-functional, interdisciplinary partnerships.
- Experience with general project management.
- Experience using and working knowledge of donor database CRM and tracking systems with preference to UCI ascend or Affinaquest software packages.
- Experience in Cloud environment deploying highly available, scalable and mission critical services with a solid understanding of security concepts and best practices.
- Experience in non-profit or fundraising field, prior experience in college or university setting.
