What we want
The Administrative Aide for Aggies in Consulting (AiC) plays a vital role in supporting the program’s mission to prepare sophomore students for successful careers in consulting. The Administrative Aid assists AiC leadership with administrative tasks, coordination of program activities, content development, relationship management, event management, and scheduling. This position is ideal for a highly organized and proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative learning environment and is passionate about student success.
Responsibilities
Program Coordination :
Coordinate logistics for cohort activities, including workshops, mentorship sessions, and speaker events
Schedule and confirm meetings for AiC leadership, mentors, and student cohorts
Manage cohort application and selection processes in collaboration with program staff
Administrative Support :
Assist in maintaining program records and files
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other communications
Support financial and procurement processes, including tracking budgets and expenses
Content Development :
Develop and edit program materials, presentations, and workshop content
Collaborate with leadership to create promotional materials and social media content
Relationship Management :
Serve as a liaison between AiC leadership, student cohorts, mentors, and external stakeholders
Facilitate communication and updates for program participants and partners
Event Management :
Plan and execute AiC events, including workshops, guest speaker sessions, and networking opportunities
Coordinate event logistics such as room reservations, catering, and technology setup
Scheduling :
Maintain and update calendars for AiC activities, ensuring smooth coordination of events and deadlines

Qualifications
Required Education :
Current Texas A&M University senior undergraduate or graduate student, graduating student, or recently graduated student
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
General familiarity with campus recruiting, career development, and TAMU resources
Understanding of cohort-based learning models and mentorship programs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
Strong interest in consulting, professional development, or higher education programs
Commitment to fostering a positive and professional environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Who we are
The Business Undergraduate Special Programs at the Mays Business School :
Business Honors – helps to develop our student’s unique strengths and prepare them for a successful professional career. Our students maintain academic excellence throughout their studies and can double major. Business Honors students have a 100% job placement or graduate school placement. Freshmen who are selected for Business Honors enter Mays Business School as Business Honors (BHNR) majors. Most Business Honors students also pursue a second business major of their choice. The Business Honors curriculum is designed to allow students to complete both majors in four years. Upon graduation, students can earn one degree (BBA) with two majors (Business Honors and a second major). Business Honors students can add a second major in Accounting, Finance, Management (4 tracks available), Management Information Systems, Marketing (5 tracks available), or Supply Chain Management as well as complete minors, certificates, and 4 1 master's programs.
Undergraduate Advising Office – Undergraduate students receive customized academic advising from the Business Honors program staff.
Student Experience Office - Texas A&M and Mays Business School are committed to providing high-impact learning experiences to students at all levels.
