Job Description

Purpose :

The Program Specialist III, under general supervision, performs specialist duties for the Renewable Clean Energy and Nuclear Technology (ReCENT) Program with primary responsibility to the NPI Pre-K -12 ProgramsReCENT Outreach and Training Programs.

Responsibilities :

  • Provides advanced professional level administrative support to the Director.
  • Coordinates college / university activities and events.
  • Coordinates conferences, seminars, meetings, and workshops to facilitate ReCENT program goals.
  • Coordinates planning, development, implementation and coordination of activities related to ReCENT program.
  • Coordinates specialized program communications and marketing materials, including managing all ReCENT social media.
  • Assists in the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines. Coordinates in the preparation and maintenance of budgets, special reports, and other documents.
  • Coordinates and attends meetings and conferences to discuss the progress of the program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years of related experience.
  • What is helpful :

  • Experience in Pre-K – 12th Grade Education and / or Professional Education Training
  • Experience managing program logistics
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Knowledge of social media platform management and general office computer applications and program.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment.
