Facilities Analytics & Mapping in the Division of Operations is an emerging department which supports the University vision through the collection, organization, analysis, and reporting of facilities and geospatial information of the campus built environment in order to support the teaching and research mission of the university. We are a service focused department and will be the initial point of contact for departmental space tracking, Move analysis and support, campus map and GIS data management, and Facility document management.
What We Want
The Archibus Program Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Archibus applications to support our facilities management activities. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and ensure seamless integration with other systems. The Archibus Program Manager is required to take initiative and independently handle all aspects of project management from inception to completion.

Starting Salary: $75,000, compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics degree with related technical experience, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years related experience in Database Systems, SQL Management and Development, and Data Analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Five years related experience in Higher Education Database Systems, Program Management experience, or Archibus experience.
- Strong background in Data Analysis, SQL Development, Database Administration, and programming.
- Program Management and Administration- Integration: Support the integration of Archibus with other systems such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD, and Revit, ensuring smooth data flow and functionality. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for Archibus applications, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements. Documentation: Create and maintain user documentation, including guides and whitepapers for customers. Project Management: Provide input to project schedules and track tasks using software development tracking tools like Jira.
- Design and Development- Analyze data requirements, define reporting criteria, and design or update reports and dashboards. Replicate and validate methodologies from external entities (e.g., Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board) to ensure accurate calculations, compliance with reporting standards, and alignment with organizational needs. Develop and test Archibus Web Central Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM), Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS), and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) applications. Use industry-standard software, tools, and programming techniques to modify Archibus functionality. Customize database schema, SQL scripts, and stored procedures as needed.
- Staff Supervision and Development- May supervise program support staff or student assistants. Develops and conducts staff training.
- Budget and Financial Coordination- Assists with yearly budgetary and contract processes. Prepares vouchers, purchase orders, and requisitions. Coordinates with accounting personnel and other support staff.
- Communication and Collaboration (Requirement Analysis)- Communicate with clients to analyze information needs and functional requirements. Develop and document technical specifications based on customer requirements.
