Job Description
Glimpse of the Job
The Camp ARCH Dorm Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the daily operations of recreational activities. Supervises camp counselors and minors overnight.
Opportunities to Contribute
Daily Operations
- Oversees the daily operations of recreational activities,
- Supervises camp counselors and minor participants overnight.
- Serves as point of contact for overnight issues.
- Helps supervise activities in studio classes and recreational activities if needed.
- Helps with serving meals and cleaning up.
- Greets new arrivals and introduces them to other campers; explains camp and facility rules.
- Reports camper complaints to leadership and works to resolve issues.
- Reports to Camp Director.
- Enforces camp rules and regulations and ensures safety in the facilities.
- Performs first aid following prescribed procedures and contacts emergency medical personnel when required by the situation.
- Demonstrates use of recreational or class equipment and supplies and teaches participants the principles, techniques, and safety procedures for each activity.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- No prior experience required.
- None
- Previous experience working as Dorm Supervisor for Architecture Camp
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to learn and enforce the camp’s safety and operating rules.
- Ability to take direction
