Mays Business School is seeking an MBA Program Coordinator who is driven, and passionate about recruitment, continuing education, and Texas A&M University.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in sales, project/event management, and recruitment. In this role you will recruit prospective students for the Flex Online MBA program. You will also oversee admission functions such as interviews and onboarding, along with travel out of state and in state for recruiting fairs and other events.

Responsibilities
Recruiting:
Attends professional events in and around the State (and out of state) to represent the Online MBA program
Recruits Online MBA candidates who are typically working professionals
Represents the Online MBA Program at MBA recruiting fairs around the country (and possibly internationally)
Will be required to drive a University or other motor vehicle to attend MBA recruiting fairs around the country
Liaises with high-level alumni and private sector executive leaders to generate a pool of prospective students
Identifies and recommends recruiting improvements
Proposes plan and execution of marketing event strategies used for recruiting for the Online MBA program
Participates in Information Sessions/events online and in person including weekend events
Develops and updates information session materials and delivers sessions
Evaluates current recruitment program against program goals and objectives
Participates in developing departmental strategic plan based on unit goals
Works alongside the MarComm representative to coordinate program communications and marketing
Stays current with recruitment programs at peer and aspirant schools
Admission Processing:
Reviews and evaluates Online MBA program applications and makes recommendations as to which program the students should be invited to interview
Compiles program statistics
Conducts applicant interviews for candidates in the Online MBA program and makes recommendations on decisions
Event Planning:
Plans and executes recruiting events such as information sessions, admitted student events, and networking events
Meets with prospective students on an individual basis to promote the best fit for MBA programs and to aid them in planning their applications
Responds to inquiries regarding program offerings and student financial aid options
What you need to know
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience
Cover Letter/Resume: A cover letter and resume will assist us in our review of your application
Schedule: This position requires some nights and weekends and requires some travel
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
Two years
Required Licenses and Certifications:
Class C driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in business administration, education administration, marketing, counseling, or other related field
Four years of experience in graduate admissions, graduate/working professional recruiting, sales, marketing, business, and/or higher education with at least two years in a direct selling or recruiting role
Reporting proficiency with MS Excel
Experience with graphic design apps or software (Ex. Venngage, MailChimp, Canva, Adobe Express) to create social media posts, flyers
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, oral, written, and presentation skills
High level of proficiency in computer skills including spreadsheets, electronic communication, and web-based applications
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage constituent relationships
Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with current and prospective students, faculty, staff, and all constituencies
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional work environment with a high degree of professionalism, accuracy, and consistency
Ability to work independently, cooperatively with a team/others
Self-starter with excellent time-management skills
Excellent writing and communication skills
