Are you passionate about making a difference in mental health?

We are seeking a dedicated Professional Counselor to provide in-person mental health counseling and outreach to individuals, couples, and groups. In this role, you will offer telemental health counseling and crisis intervention, administer and interpret psychological tests, make referrals, and manage counseling cases. You will also consult with faculty, staff, students, and parents, deliver engaging outreach presentations on counseling services and professional development, and present at local, regional, and national conferences and workshops.

We are recruiting for all levels of Professional Counselors. These in-person opportunities are located in College Station, Texas.

Minimum Qualifications:

Professional Counselor I: Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance, Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or other specialty related job function AND practical/field placement relevant to college counseling, or supervised experience related to job function

Required Licenses and Certifications: Eligible for licensure as a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern (LPC-Intern), Licensed

Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Must maintain licensure for continued employment.

Professional Counselor II: Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance, Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or other specialty related to job function AND LPC’s must have completed at least 3000 clock hours of post-licensure clinical mental health experience in no less than 18 months of supervision. LMFT’s must have completed 3000 clock hours of full-time post-licensure clinical experience in no less than 24 months with 200 hours of supervision. LCSW’s must have completed at least one year of supervised clinical experience with 100 hours of supervision and have passed their state board exam.

Required Licenses and Certifications: Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Must maintain licensure for continued employment.

Professional Counselor III: Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance, Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, other specialty related to job function AND five years post-licensure clinical mental health experience providing therapy.

Required Licenses and Certifications: Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Must maintain licensure for continued employment.

Professional Counselor IV: Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance, Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or other specialty related job function AND ten years post-licensure clinical mental health experience providing therapy.

Required Licenses and Certifications: Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Must maintain licensure for continued employment.
