Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or any equivalent combination of education and experience Two years in the maintenance and operation of electrical equipment in a theater complex Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others Ability to operate AV equipment Preferred Experience: Three years or related experience in the A/V industry Preferred Licenses and Certifications: CTS certification Responsibilities Event setup - Participate & supervise in setups, to include the setup of audio/visual equipment, lighting, draping, staging, and other special event equipment. Event execution of events inside Rudder Theatre Complex - Operate audio, projection, & lighting equipment in the execution of events in Rudder Theatre Complex. Gain a thorough understanding of all in-house equipment to better support events. Event execution at facilities outside Rudder Theatre Complex - Operate audio, projection, & lighting equipment in the execution of events at locations & facilities outside of Rudder Theatre Complex. Gain a thorough understanding of equipment owned by Rudder Theatre Complex and how best to utilize it in support of events across campus, as well as gaining a knowledge of installed AV equipment at commonly supported facilities. Customer interaction - Interact with customers, maintain the highest level of customer service. Perform other duties as assigned.
