CNC Operator Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator (HVAC CAMduct 2025 preferred) to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating CNC machinery. This role involves fabricating parts and components according to precise specifications, ensuring quality control throughout the production process. The CNC Operator will work closely with engineers and other team members to deliver high-quality products that meet customer demands.
Duties
- Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
- Utilize SolidWorks for design modifications and CAM programming for machine setup.
- Perform quality control checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Assemble fabricated components as required, ensuring proper fit and function.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical documentation.
- Experience with SolidWorks and CAM programming is preferred.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and practices in manufacturing.
- Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and techniques.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overnight shift
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
