The Opportunity
We are a fast growing Texas manufacturer’s rep firm that represents commercial HVAC products. Along with our core business we have a Service and Warranty division and a Parts Division. We are currently seeking a Parts Account Manager position responsible for the promotion and sale of our manufacturer line related to the Parts business. In partnership with all business streams you will build and manages long term customer relationships with your customers, accounts and the manufacturers. Using outstanding customer service this position will also be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

- Identify parts sales opportunities with new and existing customers
- Build partnering relationships with customers and individuals responsible for making purchasing decisions
- Develop multiple relationships with key players in customer operations
- Actively manages sales growth plans for assigned accounts
- Visit and support customer accounts
- Manage multiple, ongoing opportunities focused on selling OEM and aftermarket parts & supplies
- Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
- Actively make customers aware of product offerings and promotions
- Attending or hosting sales related entertainment and events, occasionally outside normal business hours
- Possess knowledge of all vendor lines and be able to demonstrate and discuss with customers
- Work on a team with and supports the Parts Department
- May provide backup support for inside sales / counter sales
- Regular travel requirements with some overnight travel
Qualifications
The Required Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field and four to six years of parts sales related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning, Construction or Parts industry experience is a plus.
- Excellent initiative, and interpersonal communications skills and a demonstrated ability to influence others.
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office 2007 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Environmental Requirements
Will be required to work in an office environment and possibly, occasionally in the field.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
