Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Pool Monitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patrons within the pool setting and surrounding facilities. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, conflict management, and effective communication skills to foster a positive environment for all guests.
Duties
- Supervise and monitor activities to ensure safety and compliance with rules and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance guest experiences through hospitality initiatives.
- Utilize conflict management skills to mediate disputes or concerns among guests effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility areas to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
- Vacuum and skim pool daily to keep a clean environment.
- Monitor facility and do facility safety checks daily.
- Direct new guests to main office to sign up for memberships.
- Check chemicals daily to ensure they are within a safe range.
- Enforce rules while allowing guests to enjoy their time.
Skills
- Experience working with children in recreational or educational settings is highly desirable. .
- Proven conflict management skills to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- Certification as a lifeguard is a plus for roles involving aquatic supervision (we do offer these courses).
- Excellent customer service skills to create memorable experiences for all patrons.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
