- This position is 90% travel. The cadence and schedule can change depending on market needs. An example of a working schedule currently is working in an area for 10-14 days at a time before returning home for 5 days plus off.

Texas Area Telecom is a leader in quality Telecom Infrastructure Design and construction headquartered in Austin, Texas. We have active projects all over the country. We are expanding our fielding team and looking for team members that are eager to learn the telecom industry and grow their career with our company.
This is an entry level position. Experience in surveying, field data collection, cable installation and repair or construction or related field is a requirement. Depending on your experience, we will work with the right candidate who wants to learn more in the industry of telecom.
This position requires traveling to different areas of the country, working outside collecting field data used to permit networking projects. Working remotely requires being able to self-start your day and work independently while always reporting production daily to your manager and keeping continued communication with your team.

Skills/Abilities needed for this role:
-Experience in telecom, surveying field data collection, cable installation and repair or construction or related field is a plus, but we WILL TRAIN the right candidate.
-Responsible/Self-Starter/Effective communicator/positive attitude/team player and interested in growing a career with next role
-Strong Work Ethic
-Knowledge using applications on a smartphone/Microsoft Office/Gmail
-Detail Oriented/ ability to work with numbers and notating numbers
-Walk several miles per day carrying light eight equipment like a clipboard
