Job Summary / Description :
KSWO, Lawton, OK, is looking for a full-time Technical Media Producer (TMP) who can thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven work environment. The TMP is responsible for directing live and pre-recorded productions utilizing Ross OverDrive automation software. The TMP is also responsible for monitoring the station’s on-air signals, transmitter, and FCC logs, as well as segmenting and ingesting daily programming and commercials. The successful candidate enjoys problem-solving, possesses strong communication and organizational skills, and can perform well under pressure. The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented team player who is eager to learn and willing to be challenged.
Responsibilities :
- Directing newscasts and cut-ins
- Maintaining studio equipment
- Fulfilling graphic requests
- Live shot coordinating
- Writing discrepancy reports
- Ingesting programming
- Segmenting programming
- Monitoring on-air signals
- Maintaining logs
- Performing other duties as assigned
