Job Summary:
Responsible for the coordination of maintenance and repairs of the bank's physical property and equipment.
Provides secure, accurate, responsive, and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers at all times.
Primary objective of this position is to be a trusted advisor to every internal and external customer. Inspires confidence and builds lasting relationships by consistently exhibiting each of the trusted advisor skills in order to help our customers identify and achieve their financial goals.
Essential Job Functions:
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues of the bank facilities.
- Communicate with Facilities Manager on assigned tasks.
- Interaction with contractors on remodeling and construction projects.
- Accept after-hours calls on building issues and coordinate resolutions
Other Job Functions:
- Interact with department staff and assist in training on maintenance of equipment.
- Other duties as requested by their supervisor or other management representatives of the bank.
Job Requirements
Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years’ experience in construction and building maintenance with the ability to communicate with others while maintaining quality Experience in multiple trade areas (i.e.-HVAC / Electrical / Plumbing / Drywall / Paint / Lighting / Carpentry).
- Must have the ability to analyze building and equipment issues to determine a resolution in the best interest of the bank and make decisions within established authority.
- Valid Texas driver's license and good driving record.
- Minimal computer skills required.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle a variety of duties effectively and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or other.
General Physical Demands and Workplace Conditions:
- Must be able to exert up to 80 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push or pull or otherwise move objects within the immediate work station.
- Must be able to walk, sit or stand frequently, up to 90% of the time.
- Must be able to tolerate encounters with coworkers and customers under the following conditions:
- Atmospheric pollutants or allergens, including but not limited to fumes, odors, dusts, poor ventilation;
- Changes in indoor/outdoor temperatures encountered in travel between buildings and branches.
- Other physical attributes required to successfully perform the essential functions above include finger agility, talking, and listening.
