Summer Investment Bank Analysts may work on a variety of transactions that provide exposure to various investment banking services and client industries. These services include mergers and acquisitions, private placements of debt and equity, refinancing, and leveraged buyouts. Throughout the summer, you will work with a highly talented and dedicated staff of professionals who will give you broad exposure to the many different issues and concerns affecting businesses today.
You will research and analyze financial statements, general and industry-specific economic conditions and developments, acquisitions and divestitures, and various investment attributes of publicly traded and private securities companies.

Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree with a graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
- Possess basic knowledge of and a keen interest in finance
- Strong work ethic and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- A fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications
- Strong analytical abilities and financial and computer skills
- A demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff

The M&A and Advisory team works closely with clients to understand their unique business characteristics and tailor their approach to meet specific needs. Texas Capital Securities combines in-depth industry knowledge, transaction expertise, and market insights to guide clients through complex transaction processes, ensuring a focus on client success and strategic growth.
Capital Markets
Our Capital Markets Group provides capital-raising services for a wide variety of clients, from large, publicly held, corporations to privately held companies either sponsor-backed or founded and run by entrepreneurs. In partnership with our M&A and Advisory, Energy Team and Financial Sponsors Team, we combine superior sector knowledge and relationships with significant expertise in structuring and syndicating financings.
We approach each transaction with the goal of creating a solution that enables our clients to achieve their strategic objectives with the best terms available in the market.
