Responsibilities:
- Design Execution: Assist in the creation of visual assets for various marketing and communication materials, including social media graphics, website banners, presentations, and marketing collateral.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
- Canva Proficiency: Utilize Canva to create quick-turnaround graphics and templates for various projects.
- Adobe Creative Suite Skills: Apply your knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create and edit design files.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior designers and marketing team members to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- File Management: Organize and maintain design files, ensuring proper version control and accessibility.
- Learning and Development: Actively seek opportunities to expand your design knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- Providing and Receiving Feedback: Participate in constructive design reviews.
- Social Media Posting and Monitoring: Post in correlation with our content calendar and monitor social media for comments and engagement.
- Preparing digital and print ready files.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in graphic design (including internships or freelance work).
- Proficiency in Canva is essential.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
- The ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Ability to work off hours or over weekends as needed based on priority and urgency. (~5-10 hours per month expected)
This is a Hybrid Work Position, which will require in office work at our Austin Corporate Location 2 days per week. We are not currently offering relocation for this position. Applicants are encouraged from the Austin, Texas Metropolitan area.
