What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner/Host position at Texas Corners Brewing Company?
This position is ideal for someone new to the restaurant industry. Work during each shift depends on what role - host or food running - is assigned each day. A minimum of two shifts per week is required. We need a few more people in this role as we gear up for a busy summer.
JOB DETAILS
As a host, provides customers and provides a welcoming experience including greeting customers on arrival and thanking up on departure.
As a host, maintain accurate records at host stand including use of the Yelp Guestlist app and quoting accurate wait times for customers.
As a food runner, maintain proper sanitary conditions at expediting station in kitchen. Space must be clean and food properly stored in accordance with ServSafe food handling policies.
As a food runner, accurately complete food orders on plates in kitchen including adding condiments and garnishments. Deliver orders to customers in an accurate and timely fashion after completion and direction from kitchen crew.
As a food runner, support kitchen crew with minor kitchen prep work including light knife work, making sauces, etc.
Perform necessary side work and other duties as assigned by manager.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.56 - $12.00 per hour
