Position Summary
The Director of Compliance and Data Quality’s primary responsibility is to ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, and legal standards for the provider network and maintain the integrity, accuracy, and security of organizational data. The Director will lead compliance and data quality initiatives to promote accountability, transparency, and effectiveness across all programmatic and administrative functions. The Director will perform all job duties in a way that demonstrates and emphasizes kind and respectful behavior, purposeful connection, and integrity in a service-oriented manner.
Responsibilities
Collaboration
- Collaborate with program teams to ensure timely and accurate data entry into electronic case management systems.
Communication
- Communicates regularly with Network Providers for monitoring, audits, and regulatory changes.
- Works across departments to ensure alignment with compliance and data accuracy.
- Facilitates discussions between departments to understand concerns and ensure compliance alignment.
Computer Literacy
- Oversees data integrity procedures and protocols for the CareMatch system, including identifying new system enhancements
- Manages multiple databases and compiles information from state systems for reporting.
Complexity and Judgement
- Oversee the Quality & Compliance and Data Quality teams to ensure adherence of the provider network to federal, state, and contractual requirements as well as the integrity of data systems (IMPACT, CoBRIS, TPG, etc.).
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures that support a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement quality assurance measures to monitor and enhance the quality of services.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of organizational data.
Creativity and Foresight
- Monitor data quality issues for trends and develop standard operating procedures for process implementation support.

- Demonstrates cultural sensitivity.
Finance
- Act as a liaison between the data quality team and finance team to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Assist the Senior Director in monitoring income and expenditures.
- Review and approve travel and receipt requests.
Leadership
- Be a resource to the organization to assess and resolve programming issues.
- Oversee and ensure compliance for the organization.
- Leads the Quality Team and ensures all staff receive supervision, development plans/ or have discussions about development, and on-going support.
Support Focus
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Provide support to all programs on quality improvement activities.
Professionalism
- Is well prepared and knowledgeable about their subject matter.
- Consistently updates skills through continuing education.
Risk Management and Safety
- Conduct regular internal audits, risk assessments, and quality assurance reviews to identify and address compliance gaps.
- Stay informed about changes in regulatory standards, emerging compliance risks, and innovations in data quality and compliance best practices.
Time Management
- Perform all duties within contract, state, and federal regulations, and TFCN policy and standards.
Qualifications
Education/Credentials/Licensure:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in data science, business analytics, or a related field. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Experience:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in data analysis, information systems or E.H.R. systems, data analytic tools (Power Bi, Tableau, Qlik, etc.), and/or reporting work.
- At least one (1) year of supervision experience overseeing either a compliance or data team.
- At least one (1) year experience with the Texas child welfare system including DFPS, Child Placing Agency, General Residential Operation/Residential Treatment Center, or Single Source Continuum Contractor.
