Job Responsibilities:




This position will supervise, manage, and lead County Administrative Assistance Program (CAAP) employees as assigned. Perform additional duties as directed.

Major Responsibilities and Authority:

Supervise, manage, and lead assigned CAAP employees to provide superior prompt, professional, and courteous member/customer service.

Supervise performance of tasks and activities performed by Lead Field Insurance Service Representatives (LFISR) and Field Insurance Service Representatives (FISR).

Monitor and evaluate staff performance using membership, insurance transactions, and phone data. Recommend performance improvement when deficiencies are identified.

Provide training and job assistance for existing and new LFISR and FISR positions.

Monitor and coordinate CAAP county needs for phone and staffing support.

Ability to perform all tasks and activities of LFISR and FISR positions.

Travel to county office locations as needed to provide backup assistance for CAAP counties.

Identify and implement processes, procedures, and solutions that support efficient, effective work. Solicit feedback from others (internal and external resources) to improve efficient and effective work processes, procedures, and solutions.

Supervise and monitor that Delinquent Membership and Policy Activity procedures adhere to CAAP best practices.

Monitor time off and time records. Approve time off and time records on TimeStar in accordance with company policy.

Exercise good judgement and confidentiality in maintaining critical and sensitive information, records and reports regarding the county, members, and insureds.

Discuss with the Manager of County Administrative Assistance Program any issues, problems or needs within the county offices.

Comply with the Certified Fleet operator requirements of the Driving and Safety Policy.

Other duties as may be assigned.




Job Qualifications:




Four-year degree from accredited college or university.

Hold and maintain General P&C Insurance license pursuant to Texas law or ability to obtain with 3 months of employment.

Be an effective team leader.

Basic knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Effective interpersonal verbal skills, in person and via telephone.

Ability to plan, organize, and complete detailed work independently or in a team environment.

Strong organizational skills with ability to coordinate several tasks at the same time.

Willing and able to learn new skills and refine existing skills as needed.

Valid Texas driver’s license and driving record at the time of hire which would not disqualify the employee from driving for business purposes.

Use of computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, scanner, and other office equipment over six (6) hours daily.

Extended periods of sitting and concentration.

Occasional bending, twisting, crouching, pulling, pushing, lifting, and reaching in an office environment.

Occasional lifting and moving items weighing up to 30 lbs.

Travel by auto or other public transportation.

Working Conditions:

Occasional long, irregular work hours.

Willing to travel as required with occasional overnight work assignments.

Work to be conducted in office environment owned or leased by company.
