Mortgage Loan Originator Team Leader
Location : Dallas
Overview :
As our Mortgage Loan Originator, you will provide customized TFC mortgage solutions tailored to customer needs and market and originate loans for the secondary mortgage market while under moderate supervision.
Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, marketing, or a related field, and / or two (2) years of direct experience in mortgage banking, preferably in the loan origination or processing of conventional mortgages
Must be registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry consistent with the requirements of part 610 of FCA's regulations and the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (the S.A.F.E. Act)
What You'll Do Everyday :
Business Development & Networking - Perform business development, networking, and public relations activities to establish a referral network and attract new customers. Assist MLOs with joint sales calls and provide guidance for achieving team goals.
Marketing & Sales Strategy - Follow the marketing plan within budget to promote secondary market mortgages. Develop and implement sales, business development, and marketing strategies to meet mortgage income goals. Work with management on branch marketing and sales plans.
Loan Origination & Processing - Gather and analyze applicant financial data, explain financing options, ensure compliance with association and regulatory guidelines, and utilize loan origination software for processing, underwriting, and closing.
Compliance & Reporting - Ensure regulatory compliance, oversee loan documentation, provide consumer protection information, and compile required sales and performance reports.
Training & Leadership - Train and support MLOs, assist with staff selection and development, monitor compliance, and oversee branch mortgage operations to ensure accountability and efficiency.
Market Analysis & Competitive Awareness - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to enhance business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
