Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low-voltage systems, fire safety, and construction inspection. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems, ensuring they meet safety standards and function effectively. The Alarm Technician will work closely with clients to provide exceptional service and meet their fire alarm needs.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems including intrusion detection and fire alarms.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand system design requirements.
  • Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Employ voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to detect issues within alarm systems.
  • Collaborate with other service technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Perform regular testing and inspections of alarm systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide training and support to clients on the operation of their alarm systems.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Alarm Technician or in a similar role involving low voltage systems.
  • Strong understanding of system design principles and construction practices.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
