Essential Functions :
Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
Assists with routine inspections, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment
Assists with repairs, as needed
Assists with equipment demonstration, loading, and unloading of equipment
Maintains equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures
Responsible for general yard and shop cleanup in accordance with company standards, maintaining a safe and hazard-free yard
Maintains company equipment – keeps in good, clean, and orderly condition
Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Knowledge of construction and rental industry equipment
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
Equipment selection skills - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels of the organization
First-class organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, deadline oriented
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment
The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately
Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One to two years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred

This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.

Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
Ascend / descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climbing up and down ladder
Be able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipment
Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work
Work Environment :
Regularly works outdoors and may be exposed to weather extreme conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity
Noise level may be loud at times
Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, steam, high-pressure water, and high-speed rotating equipment
Significant time spent in confined spaces and high places.
