**Job Title:** Director of Finance & Compliance
The Director of Finance will oversee all aspects of monthly and annual financial reporting within the company. This includes preparation of complete financial statements, budgets, cash flow forecasts, capital expenditure reports, and other monthly reports as required by management.
This position will direct, manage, and support the development, implementation, maintenance, and administration of all financial controls and accounting procedures. Establish departmental goals, objectives, and standards.
As a key member of the management team, the Director of Finance will be involved in the company's strategic decisions and financing relationships. This position will understand all business processes across departments and develop procedures to ensure appropriate financial and information technology controls.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations and company's transaction processing systems with the Controller.
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
- DIRECT THE ANNUAL BUDGET PROCESS IN A MANNER ALIGNED WITH THE COMPANY'S SHORT AND LONG-TERM GOALS.
- Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting department budgets.
- Be able to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to control costs and improve profitability.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control procedures in detecting and preventing fraud, errors, and non-compliance with laws and regulations.
- Maintain programs that ensure the organization complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Responsible for maintaining training programs that educate employees on compliance requirements and responsibilities.

- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical financial information to a non-financial audience.

**Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accounting/Finance is required.
- Masters of Accounting/Finance or MBA preferred.
**Work Experience & Personal Skill Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in an accounting leadership role.
- 5 years of people management experience.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Advanced Excel data modeling skills are required.
