This position requires the employee to primarily perform sedentary office work; however, mobility (moving around the worksite) is routinely required to carry out some duties. This position requires extensive computer, telephone and client/ customer contact and communication. It requires the ability to move and position oneself as needed for filing and similar routine office duties. The job also requires normal cognitive abilities requiring the ability to learn, recall, and apply certain practices and policies. It requires the stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions. Ability to read printed materials and computer screens. The individual must be able to move and transport records, documents, boxes, and all related information and materials, weighing up to 20 pounds when required.

How To Apply
- Performs routine (journey-level) grant development, coordination, and administration work related to all active GLO programs. Works under direct supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Employees at this level may perform and complete most simple grant management work and may:
- Suggest procedures for activity development and review grant worthiness.
- Monitor the implementation, management, evaluation, and close-out of grants according to rules and regulations.

What Your Contributions To The GLO Will Be
- Prepares draft correspondence to community stakeholders that provides general information about Community Development & Revitalization (CDR) programs, required documents for programs, and program statuses. Connects stakeholders to vendor and sub-recipient staff with respect to the administration and implementation of program activities.
- Assists with liaison duties between the agency, state, vendors, sub-recipients, and other interested parties and grant funding sources. Maintains a clear understanding of all CDR programs and communicates about those programs via phone.
- Assists with administrative functions, such as incoming and outgoing inquiries, by handling incoming correspondence and ensuring it is received by the proper recipient; as well as management of said documentation and its storage within our SharePoint to gain understanding of programmatic knowledge necessary for development.
- Obtains and maintains proficiency in TIGR, the CDR-inhouse grant admin software, for the purpose of creating, entering, and maintaining files and records for appeals, reports and complaints processed by the H&QA team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in Public Administration, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field to the program. Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
- Experience in a professional work environment, utilizing a multi-line phone system, and documenting customer interactions using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (ex. Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Zendesk, etc.).
- Experience communicating with public stakeholders about the administration, development, coordination, and monitoring of grants.
- Experience monitoring, evaluating, processing, and/or auditing federally funded Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) programs.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
- Intermediate experience creating data reports.
- Intermediate experience organizing and maintaining files in a document management system.
