Network Engineer

Overview

Texas GovLink, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has been a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Network Engineer to be a key resource on a technical services team.

• Location of job : Onsite for training and orientation, but remote work will be considered after. Candidates willing to work in the Austin or Huntsville area will be considered.

Responsibilities

One of our clients has over 100 different locations and approximately 39,000 employees and contractors who have a budget of $4 billion annually. Within the information technology division (ITD) is the infrastructure and network engineering group. The agency is anticipating the need to add 1 to 3 additional network engineers for its offices in Austin and Huntsville Texas. The initial term of the contract will require the individual to be in the office for training and orientation, but remote work will be considered after this period. This is anticipated to be a long-term engagement.

The client is going through an initial screening which may include a brief introductory discussion, prior to a more formal detailed interview
