Medical Office Manager

This position is responsible for the overall managerial operations of a busy two-provider Epilepsy Care Center office. The Clinic Manager is responsible for leadership of personnel; billing entry; compliance and operating oversight; escalated patient care matters and financial responsibility in relation to budget and Accounts Receivable. This position will work cooperatively with the medical providers of the clinic and in collaboration with our Centralized Business Office operations team to ensure physician and practice success. We are looking for a mature, decisive, dependable, and optimistic individual who is seeking a busy, stable environment. The ideal candidate will have a customer-service-oriented personality with strong leadership and communications skills as the role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office while enhancing the patient experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified applicants must have at least 3-5 years of prior medical office experience/physician practice supervision, preferably in Pediatrics and/or Neurology
• Proficiency in practice management software and electronic health records - NextGen EPM/EHR is a plus.
• Applicants must have extensive knowledge of medical billing/coding and medical terminology respective to Pediatrics/Neurology.
• A solid understanding of coding and third-party billing is required.
• Resolve patient insurance concerns and account balances
• Identify opportunities and areas for front-end improvement that lead to favorable reimbursement outcomes
• Ability to recognize challenges before they occur and proactively address them
• Ability to assume medical assistant and front desk/scheduling responsibilities when needed

Work hours: Monday - Friday: 7:30am-4:30pm

Location: Irving, Texas

Salary: Negotiable

This position will begin employment early to mid April 2025.
