What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vascular Technologist position at Texas Health Care PLCC?
Growing Vascular Office is currently seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with vascular disease. Candidate must be proficient in performing a wide range of vascular studies as well as assisting the physicians with in-office procedures.
Monday - Friday / Day Shift / No Call - No Weekends.
Requirements:
- Current American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
- Previous experience in a Vascular surgery office, vein clinic or hospital setting
- Ability to perform a variety of arterial and venous ultrasound testing in a fast-paced Vascular Surgery office setting.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced vascular office and in a team setting.
- Possess a high degree of independent judgment, ingenuity, initiative and skill to produce diagnostic studies that are interpretable by the physician.
- Process preliminary reports for physician interpretation and entry into the patient's medical record
- Demonstrate a high level of technical understanding of the studies as well as the instrumentation
- Previous experience in a vascular surgery office, vein clinic or hospital setting a plus
Qualifications:
- College or Technical Training Program is required.
- Current ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
- Possess a detailed knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology and hemodynamics.
- Previous experience in vascular ultrasound testing
