Position Summary Description :

This position works under the supervision of the Controller. The Senior Accountant will assist in the

monthly close process and preparation of monthly financial statements including general ledger journal

entries and account reconciliations. This position will also review and analyze cash flow reports and

update complicated Excel worksheets regularly.

• Education and Job Requirements :
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• A minimum of 3 years experience required
• Solid accounting principles knowledge
• Ability to uphold confidentiality
• Computer experience preferred using Sage Intacct, Excel, Word, Google Sheets / Docs / Slides.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet staffing needs.
• Organized and good problem-solving skills
• Fast-paced environment and ability to multitask

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

The position of Senior Accountant will require prolonged periods of sitting. Squatting, bending and reaching are frequently necessary as well, with kneeling and twisting required on an occasional basis. Work requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, type, and operate a calculator, telephone, copier, and such other office equipment as necessary. It is necessary to view and type on computer screens for long periods and to work in an environment that can be very stressful.

This position will require the ability to lift and / or carry weights from 1 to 10 pounds safely on an individual basis. Weights over 10 pounds must be managed with appropriate assistance. Pushing and pulling of similar weight capacities may also be required and are to be accomplished with assistance as necessary to preserve the safety standard of this facility.

The incumbent must possess good written and verbal communication skills and average or above visual and auditory abilities.
