  • MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SURGERY DEPARTMENT and INSURANCE VERIFICATION EXPERIENCE

We are looking for an outgoing, dependable individual to join our team as Patient Care Coordinator in our surgery department

  • Generate surgery estimates for physician services and explain patient financial responsibilities to the patient
  • Collect payments and set up payment plans and ensure payment is collected prior to the procedure.
  • Verify insurance and confirm proper coverage, obtain authorization when needed
  • Update patient’s personal and financial information
  • Assist in scheduling surgeries
  • Coordinate with patients, surgery centers, and OBA groups on a daily basis
  • Assists in resolving patient conflicts and complaints in a professional manner, as well as informing the appropriate parties as soon as possible
  • Perform other related duties as directed or assigned

    • Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
