The role you’ll contribute :
As a converging point person for people, process, and technology, the Manager of Nursing Informatics has a leadership role in transforming clinical care, maximizing the benefits of information systems within AdventHealth while coordinating nursing informatics activities for assigned facilities. Attributes must include :
- An expert in computer science, information technology, clinical decision support, and nursing clinical workflow and processes.
- Acts as a key contributor working in collaboration with professionals on enterprise-wide clinical informatics projects.
- Collaborates to enhance clinical systems in support of excellence in patient care, clinical transformation and establishment of best practices.
- Functions as the leader of a team of Informaticists relative to assigned region.
- Passionate about informatics transformation in a changing environment.
- Negotiates resolution of conflicting requirements across the agencies and / or departments.
- Sets and measures performance objectives and provides regular one-on-one feedback to all members of the team.
- Has excellent skills in customer service and communication while supporting operational leadership, nurses, and other hospital staff.
- Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
- Manages delivery and Service Level Agreements by guiding incident resolution, problem management, and enhancement requests. Motivates team to deliver a consistently excellent service experience.
