You Will Be Responsible For :
- Collaborates with the public relations manager in the development, implementation, and evaluation of key educational initiatives, including Save 8 : Designate!, Save 8 : Educate!, Done Vida, and GR8TODON8 8k Race for Donation, providing a monthly progress report to the manager. Conducts a minimum of 30 in-services for these key publics within a 12-month period.
- Facilitates at least 2 large-scale college campus events to promote organ and tissue donation and donor designation.
- Performs social media content analysis to ensure mission-focused engagement with key target audiences, and shares results and recommendations with the public relations manager on a monthly basis.
- Serves as a professional liaison to and collaborates with student volunteers engaged in the Save 8 : Designate! college campaign and Save 8 : Educate! high school campaign. Specifically guides the students in the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of the peer-to-peer programs. Provides campaign reports to the public relations manager on a monthly basis.
- Assists with the management and training of the TransLife volunteer program.

Job Summary :
The Public Relations Specialist collaborates with community partners, volunteers, and driver license / tax offices to help maximize education on organ and tissue donation and actionable donor designations. Under supervision, the public education coordinator implements and evaluates public education initiatives tailored for specific audiences in addition to assisting with the TransLife volunteer program. The Public Education Coordinator actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
