Schedule: PT Days 2-12 hour shifts

Shift : 7:00am-7:00pm (Days)

• Help develop a brand new $150 million community hospital and medical office building that will provide services such as Emergency Services, Medical/Surgical, ICU, Women’s Services, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Interventional Cardiology and Gastroenterology.

The role you’ll contribute:

The House Supervisor is the Administration and Patient relations representative after regular business hours and is the clinical resource facilitator for the nursing areas. The House Supervisor facilitates intradepartmental communication and activities and ensures the delivery of quality patient care by complying with and enforcing policies and procedures, mission, vision and core values of the facility.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Serves as a resource person and expert in clinical practice while coordinating the implementation and maintenance of the nursing process within the hospital for an assigned shift in the absence of the administrative staff.
• Is available for consultation by phone or in person.
• Evaluates clinical situations making competent judgements regarding patient care.
• Keeps informed regarding critically ill patients and their plan of care each shift.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Demonstrates knowledge of principles, methods and techniques demanded by current standards of nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in acute care setting with demonstrated leadership abilities, appropriate decision making and a history of positive interpersonal relationships with patient, visitors, and hospital staff.
• Currently licensed to practice as an RN in the State of Texas.
• ICU experience
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
