Flowers Mound, TEXAS
Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Hospitalist opening for a full-time opportunity in Flower Mound, Texas near the Irving/Lewisville area. Work daytime shifts, Monday thru Friday, 8AM to 5PM, with some PRN nights. Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of patients.
POSITION DETAILS:
Ø Assist Hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&P’s & follow-up visits
Ø Initiate appropriate treatment & testing for medical illnesses
Ø Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions
Ø Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patients
Ø Document using EPIC EMR system
Ø Participate in continuous quality improvement processes
IF YOU:
Ø Enjoy working days, 8AM-5PM, with some PRN nights (233 shifts annually)
Ø Active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgement and decision making
Ø Texas licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Ø ACLS certification
Ø 2 years of NP of experience in ICU/CVICU required.
