PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OPENING
ALLEN, TEXAS
Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a Physician Assistant Hospitalist opening for a full-time opportunity in Allen, TX. Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of patients.
POSITION DETAILS:
Ø Preform history and physical exams on new and established patients.
Ø Initiate appropriate treatment & testing for evaluation of illness based on training and experience.
Ø Communicate with patients and family members concerning health related issues.
Ø Provide counseling and instructions to patients regarding health related issues.
Ø Document using EMR system.
Ø Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.
REQUIRMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Ø Enjoy working a 2pm-11pm shift
Ø Active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgement and decision making
Ø Texas licensed Physician Assistant with a master’s degree
Ø ACLS certification
Ø 2 years of PA experience in ICU/CVICU required.
