FT Registered Nurse, Field Nurse
Texas Healthcare Solutions Inc. is a locally owned and operated licensed and Medicare certified home health agency serving San Antonio and the surrounding Texas Hill Country that is dedicated to providing professional personal health care services to individuals in their homes, apartments or assisted living communities.

We are looking for Field RNs that share our love for patient care.

Job Summary:

· Performs in an independent capacity.

· Provides direct and indirect patient care and coordinates patient care.

· Supervises the LVN and Home Health Aide.

· Manages the overall treatment of assigned patients.

· Maintains communication with patient, family, and physician.

Essential Functions:

· Utilizes the nursing process to evaluation patients and plan, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.

· Regularly reevaluates the patient’s needs, initiates any revision of the plan of care as needed to assure optimum patient care.

· Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.

· Carries out physician orders.

· Skillfully performs hands-on techniques and treatments necessary for safe patient care in accordance with professional standards.

· Administers medications accurately and documents it as per physician’s orders.

· Inspects the patient’s home environment for any possible dangers or hazards.

· Prepares and maintains professional, accurate and complete clinical records.

· Responds in a safe and appropriate fashion to patient’s emergencies.

· Assists and instructs patients and their family in self-care techniques.

· Acts as a resource for patients and their families.

Education:

· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

· Fully licensed in the State of Texas

Training Requirements:

· A minimum of two years nursing experience in hospice services.

· Basic knowledge in computer use.

· Must be CPR certified and have current TB skin test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
