Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic financial team. This role is essential in maintaining our financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and providing accurate financial reporting to support decision-making processes.
Duties
- Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support financial management.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary financial data for reporting.
- Ensure compliance with securities law and other regulatory requirements.
- Perform detailed analyses of financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in financial accounting or corporate accounting roles.
- Familiarity with private equity accounting practices is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with bank reconciliation processes and accounts receivable management.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
