The Analog Technology Development IP organization within the Technology and Manufacturing Group at Texas Instruments is looking for Design Engineers. Our charter is to define, develop and release highly differentiated IP's including Flash, SRAM/ROM memory compilers, Digital/IO libraries, NVM (OTP, Fuse, EEPROM) and custom Analog IPs that enable TI product lines to ship state of the art products cutting across automotive, industrial, communications, computing and consumer markets.
As an Analog IC Design Engineer, some of your responsibilities include:
- Design and verification of performance differentiated Digital and Analog circuits/systems, support validation of the design on silicon
- Timely release of meticulously analyzed and simulated IC designs or subsections of designs. These designs should lead to cost effective, high quality, bug free products that fully meet end system requirements
- Assess system level behaviors, testability, debug, characterization, and production and yield targets through product development
- Responsible for IC system partitioning and signal chain analysis, architectural trade-off analysis
- Actively contribute to top level architecture, owning of block level topology selection, transistor level implementation and large/small signal analysis
- Worst case identification, top level simulation, Monte Carlo analysis, and simulation data analysis
- Post layout parasitic extraction and simulation, verification of all IC level performance metrics

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
- Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher
- Understanding of semiconductor IC processing, semiconductor packaging, and production test solutions are desirable
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong basics in analysis, transistor level design and implementation of digital and analog building blocks including digital logic, sense amplifiers and analog building blocks like current mirrors, voltage references, comparators, etc.
- Verification of Blocks across PVT, Statistical mismatch, mixed Mode top level verification using tools such as Cadence AMS
- Behavioral Modelling of analog blocks in Verilog AMS
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
