About the Job
In order to support growth and increase manufacturing capacity, Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for an Experienced Facilities Civil and Structural Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team within World-Wide Design & Construction. This engineer will be directly responsible for major Design including but not limited to Greenfield, Brownfield and Major Expansions on existing semiconductor manufacturing and non-manufacturing facilities. This is a TI Corporate Role that will be supporting new and existing Wafer Fabs and Assembly Test sites Worldwide . Also, in an effort to develop reliable facilities and increase construction efficiency, these Designs will become Standards . Furthermore, this role will entail researching and developing New and Innovative Technologies and systems to be implemented within TI facilities to enhance reliability and drive down cost in state-of-the-art manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :
- Major Construction Design and Support of the following systems :
Building Architectural and Structural
Owner Project Design Requirements
Submittal Review and Approval
Design Scope Statement of Work
Develop new strategies of implementing systems to improve reliability, cost, and construction efficiencies
