About the job :
As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will help to evaluate and support our manufacturing operations. This role will provide the ability to work side-by-side with high performing, experienced Industrial Engineers, and you will participate in 5S and Lean manufacturing activities. You will have the opportunity to identify areas of improvement in cycle time utilizing different Factory Physics theories and utilize multiple types of industry standard software to analyze operational performance gaps and develop reports on your findings.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :
- Support FAB capacity modeling activities
- Support equipment throughput analysis in clean room environment
- Participate in production scheduling and dispatching rules development activities
- Gather information required to understand capacity analysis and production impact
- Collect and validate operational performance data via strong analytic methods on automation and system logs to analyze throughput impact of various process requirements
- Support automating data extraction and manufacturing processes
- Extract and analyze large data sets
- Work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Basic coding opportunity to develop applications supporting manufacturing needs
