In this position you will be expected to work closely with design engineers to drive layouts from start to finish. Knowledge of Cadence tool suite, analog layout, floor-planning, packaging and fabrication are required.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum education - bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 1 years of layout experience using TI's proprietary processes.
- Workplace location - Tucson Arizona, in-office / in-person.
- Experience with Cadence suite of tools: Virtuoso L / XL/EXL, Modgen, Assura, PVS, K2, etc
- Full-custom circuit layout/verification and RC extraction experience.
- Understand and implement constraint driven layout.
- Good understanding semiconductor technology, process and device physics.
- Knowledge of different packaging technologies.
- Experience with ESD, Latch-Up, EMI, and antenna.
- Understanding and implementations of good layout practices for matching, low noise, area savings etc.
- Unix and Cadence database management skills.
- Shell or other programming languages.
- Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
