Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Layout Designer to join our team! The successful candidate will have a strong background in analog layout design, with a focus on mixed signal designs. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of TI experience in mixed signal layout, a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality layouts for analog circuits.
Qualifications
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform physical layout of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits at the block and chip level
- Conduct floor-planning and placement of circuit components to optimize area, performance, and power
- Understanding of IR drop, RC delay, electro migration, self-heating, shielding, matching, latch up and coupling capacitance management techniques
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso DRC/LVS verification
- Ensure layouts meet performance, power, area and packaging requirements
- Strong communication, debugging and analytical skills with complex technical concepts
- Preparation of tape-out data, documentation and archival
- Prepare presentation materials for layout reviews
- Collaborate with SCP for LF and ATD co-development and release
