Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- 5 years' work experience in payroll processing, payroll taxes and/or human resources
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Demonstrates a strong curiosity mindset – desires to learn from every situation, asks questions to gain knowledge, learns from mistakes to avoid repeats
- Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes
- Ability to handle large amounts of data while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, full compliance, and strong internal controls.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Uphold a high level of commitment to protecting private information, ensuring that sensitive details are only accessed and used by authorized individuals, and only disclosed when absolutely necessary, adhering to strict ethical principles in all situations where confidential data is involved
- Knowledge of payroll tax forms
- Working knowledge of HCM, ADP and/or another payroll system
- Knowledge of payroll-related federal/state/local websites and payroll tax laws
- Payroll accounting concepts
- Intermediate level of computer literacy and strong MS Office skills, specifically Excel and Outlook.
