What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pulmonary Physician position at Texas IPS PLLC?
Seeking Pulmonary Physician to work for Texas IPS to work full-time in San Antonio, Texas (Bexar County). The duties of a Pulmonary Physician are to provide critical care medical treatment for patients including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of pulmonary diseases in the clinic and in-patient setting. The position also requires that the physician carry out medical care programs specializing in critical care medicine and diseases of the lungs. Further, a Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician examines patients to determine the presence of diseases and establishes preventative health practices, determines the nature and extent of disease, prescribes and administers medication and immunizations, treats new patients, and gives follow-up care for patients
Candidates must hold a valid degree in in Medicine and must possess the following :
- Candidates must have completed three years of medical residency and must have completed or be graduating from a three-year Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellowship.
- Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Pulmonary & Critical Care
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas.
