Groundskeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and overall health of our landscapes and outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a passion for gardening and landscaping, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various groundskeeping activities.
• Plant, water, and maintain gardens to ensure healthy growth of flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Irrigate lawns and gardens as needed to promote optimal plant health.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces by removing debris and litter.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and quality results.

Experience

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and gardening techniques is essential.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, including fertilization and pest control methods.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift

• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
