Program Coordination Duties
- Serve as the District point of contact for your particular area, embracing ownership of the successful implementation and operation of all aspects of your area of focus;
- Develop a knowledge base over time of the specifics in each area of focus, seeking out ways to grow and improve your knowledge and skills over time.
- Answer questions from campus teachers/staff about each area in a timely manner and with a customer service (“Win/win”) approach;
- Develop a plan for successful implementation and operation of the area, including a “YAG” for each area of focus.
- Stays current with the latest information in the particular area, including seeking out Professional Development, TEA updates, and best practices in each area of focus.

Academic Coaching/Training Duties
- Schedule regular touch-points and/or routine meetings with staff that are directly in your area of focus.
- Visits campuses and classrooms to monitor each area of focus on a regular basis
- Conducts regular coaching sessions with the staff in this area that are in need of greater assistance;
- Create and lead formal training in each area of focus that will ensure that staff are supported, equipped, and knowledgeable for success.
