What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Level Intern position at Texas Lehigh Cement Company LP?
In 1986, Centex (now Eagle Materials) sold a 50% ownership interest in Texas Cement Company to Lehigh Portland Cement Company (now part of Heidelberg Materials North America), forming the joint venture Texas Lehigh Cement Company LP.
Texas Lehigh currently manufactures and markets four different types of construction cement, including three API Spec Oil Well cements (Class A, Class C, and Class H), as well as masonry cements for customers in Texas and beyond. The company's goal is to be the highest quality, low-cost producer of cement products in Texas while prioritizing employee safety and meeting environmental regulations.
With a rich history of innovation and a strong commitment to sustainability, Texas Lehigh Cement has been instrumental in building Texas' infrastructure for over four decades. Furthermore, the establishment of our Slag cement facility in Houston positions us to offer a sustainable cement alternative for the future.
Our dedication to quality, environmental stewardship, and community engagement has established us as a leader in the cement industry. We take pride in our use of advanced technologies, our focus on reducing carbon emissions, and our ongoing efforts to improve energy efficiency in cement production.
