- Accurately weigh incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring that all weight measurements are correct and recorded properly for inventory or billing purposes.
- Regularly calibrate and maintain scales to ensure they are functioning correctly. Perform routine inspections and adjust scales as needed to maintain accuracy.
- Identify and troubleshoot scale malfunctions or errors, and coordinate repairs or adjustments to ensure continued operations without disruption.
- Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and support overall facility goals.
- Frequent interaction with drivers or operators to ensure proper weighing procedures are followed, and assist with any issues related to the scale system.
